Access :
 - By train : There is a good direct train service from Paris to Angouleme (Gare de Montparnasse) and also Charles de Gaule Airport. The journey time from Montparnasse is about 2 hours 15. At Angouleme station there are hire cars available or we can arrange to meety your train and keep you at the station (maximum 6 peoples). From London you can take the Eurostar to either Lille or Paris. There are two trains in each direction per day via Lille which only require a change of platform. There are more trains via Paris, but this requires getting from the Gare du Nord to Montparnasse (leave about half an hour if you go on the Metro, but less and of course more expensive by taxi).
 

- By air : Flights are available to Poitier and Limoges airports with Ryanair and can be booked on-line, look out for the bargains ! Ryanair can also organise car rental for you from the airport. If you flying to Charles de Gaulles Airport, a few directs trains are available from the airport to Angouleme (see train above) Otherwise a bus is available from the airport building direct to Montparnasse station where many more trains are available. The bus journey takes just under an hour.
 

- By car : we are at 450 km from Paris, 750 kms from Bruxelles, 90 kms from Poitiers, 150 km from Bordeaux, 40 km from Angoulême, 150 km from Royan (atlantic beach), 60 km from Limoges. Were are not very far from the Dordogne (18 km), the Limousin (22 km) and the Vienne (Poitiers, 90 km).
